Innoopract is a software and service company that helps developers and corporations make the most of their investment in development tools and platforms. The company is a founding member of the Eclipse foundation and bases its products and services on Eclipse's leading development platform.
Eclipse and Innoopract
All of Innoopract's business areas are based on the Eclipse platform. Eclipse provides a powerful and robust open source platform. Innoopract provides add-on tools, consulting, support, custom development, training and open source distribution and management services.
The Eclipse consortium elected Innoopract to join Eclipse as the third German company after SAP and SuSe (Novell). Innoopract takes an active role in the forming of Eclipse's future including leading the Rich Ajax Platform Project, the Eclipse Packaging Project and contributing to the G-Eclipse and Phoenix projects. Innoopract holds a seat on the Eclipse Board of Directors as a strategic member.
