Position Summary:

We are looking for talented, highly-skilled software developers to work on our software products, in customer projects and in the open source projects at Eclipse.org. Candidates should combine excellent technical skills with the ability to communicate with clients. Candidates should take pride in writing cutting-edge software while keeping the end-users in mind. Developers at Innoopract are responsible for designing, developing and testing internal and external software projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of development experience.


• Strong knowledge of Java, web technologies, and Eclipse plug-in development


• Familiarity with agile development methodology, unit testing, test-driven development, refactoring techniques and common design patterns


• Experience with requirements-gathering and developing projects from scratch.


• For all technical positions, experience as an active contributor to open source projects (at Eclipse.org or elsewhere) is a plus. Please include links to such projects and pointers to your contributions with your application

Additional Information:

• Technical positions are open for both of Innoopract's main areas of specialization: "Server-side Eclipse/RAP" and "Eclipse as Integration Platform/Yoxos". If you are particularly interested in one of these areas, please let us know in your application. (This does not limit your chances in any way, but helps us to organize the interview process on our side.)


• For positions in the area "Eclipse as Integration Platform/Yoxos", knowledge and working experience with languages other than Java is a plus
