Senior Developer
Position Summary:
We are looking for talented, highly-skilled software developers to work on our software products, in customer projects and in the open source projects at Eclipse.org. Candidates should combine excellent technical skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical clients alike. Candidates should take pride in writing cutting-edge software while keeping the end-users in mind. Senior Developers at Innoopract are responsible for the overall technical success of software components of our products, client projects and open source projects. Senior Developers are responsible for planning, architecting, designing, developing and testing internal and external software projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of development experience and 2 years of Eclipse development experience.
- Expert knowledge of Java, and Eclipse plug-in development
- Experience with web technologies, C/C++ and experience in systems programming
- In-depth understanding of the Eclipse Rich Client Platform and/or other Eclipse technologies
- Familiarity with agile development methodology, unit testing, test-driven development, refactoring techniques and common design patterns
- Experience with requirements gathering and developing projects from scratch
- Experience leading software development teams and customer engagements
- For all technical positions, experience as an active contributor to open source projects (at Eclipse.org or elsewhere) is a plus. Please include links to such projects and pointers to your contributions with your application
