Innoopract proposes the Runtime Top-Level Project at Eclipse

The Eclipse Runtime (RT) project has been proposed as a top-level Eclipse open source project.

Eclipse RT is designed to foster, promote and house runtime efforts in the Eclipse community toward the common goal of providing a uniform component model across a wide variety of computing environments. The Equinox framework and OSGi form the basis of this infrastructure.

 

The project will be led by Jochen Krause of Innoopract and Jeff McAffer of Code 9. Oracle, IBM and Sopera will also have seats on the Project Management Committee.
