In cooperation with the Eclipse Foundation, the g-Eclipse project will
be conducting a free Webinar on Tuesday, 30th October 2007 entitled
"g-Eclipse - Access a World-wide Grid Infrastructure"
In this webinar participants will learn about Grid infrastructures and
how to access them with the g-Eclipse framework. After the basic setup, we will demonstrate the creation of a Grid project and show how
g-Eclipse enables the user to easily interact with the (EGEE) Grid. We
will access remote files and submit simple computational jobs to the
Grid. Switching to the Grid operator perspective, we will show the tools
an operator can use to manage Grid sites. In the third g-Eclipse
perspective, a developer of Grid applications will see how to benefit
from the g-Eclipse framework by executing remote compilation and remote
debugging on a transparent Grid infrastructure.
Participating in the live Webinar is free of charge, but requires
advance registration. More information including date, time and
registration can be found at the webpage: http://live.eclipse.org/node/354
